In this post, I'll guide you through the essential steps to effectively use the Prime device.
Step 1: Turn on the Prime
To get started, you first need to turn on your Prime device. Here's how:
Press and Hold: Firmly press and hold the center button on the button pad for 2 seconds. You'll feel a slight vibration indicating that the device is on.
Step 2: Adjust the Speed Setting
Once the Prime is powered on, you can customize your treatment experience with five preset speeds:
Toggle Speeds: Use the up (^) and down (v) arrows to toggle through the different speed settings until you find the level that suits your needs best. Adjusting the speed can help target areas of varying tension more effectively, so don’t hesitate to experiment!
Step 3: Proper Usage Technique
For optimal results and safety, it's essential to use the Prime correctly:
Make Perpendicular Contact: When using the Prime, ensure that the attachment is making perpendicular contact with the skin. This technique maximizes the benefits of percussion therapy.
Avoid Angling: Ensure that only the attachment of the device makes contact with your skin. Do not use the device at an angle that allows the percussive arm itself to touch your skin, as this can lead to injury.
Step 4: Turn Off the Prime
Once you’ve completed your treatment:
Turn Off the Device: To power down the Prime, simply press and hold the center button on the button pad until it is off.
